Looks to have the original light gilt finish. Old cracks and breaks running through various places of the gesso most notably near the crest and at the base, several sections of ribbon twist moulding missing from around the plate, other small scattered losses elsewhere most notably the tip of the right side flower crest. Putto on the right has lost an arm. Glass plates probably original
