No damage seen; fork tines not worn; handles good; some of the black-stained lion rampant crests a little worn. Makers Martin Hall & Co. Case fits well and may be original although a lower tier, fitted for twelve further knives, is empty, worn and moth-eaten; case cover inset brass shield scratched; case lacks key. Two layers, third layer vacant.
