Estimate £600-900

Overall of a mid brown to golden walnut tone in a fair state of polish, the top is slightly darker than the front, shows a few patches of matted varnish and two small areas where slight crescents of veneer have lifted up, the largest runs approx. 4 inches in a curve, so the top would ideally need repolishing with some small attention to the veneers, mounts are a little matted but all complete, marquetry all in very good order, the central door and flanking areas are slightly lighter than elsewhere, there are some old fine splits in the veneers throughout which look to have been restored 10 years ago or so, comes with a working key, the beaded braiding running around the doors is complete with a slightly wobbly escutcheon, internally looks like the original velvet which has faded to some extent, inside of the door panel is very faded, overall a fair piece which does need some cosmetic attention.
