A Victorian Wedgwood fourteen piece Majolica dessert service, moulded with scallop shells with tortoiseshell glaze including a pair of comports with triple dolphin bases

Comprises 10 plates, two comports and two different shell-shaped dishes.
All pieces have fine crazing to the glaze, some with some slight staining as well. One of the comports shell shaped top has been cleanly detached from the dolphin stem and has a late 19th century screw thread and nut fixing visible under neath with a small grey metal bulbous cap at the top. The same comport has a shallow under rim chip. The year date letters are R,T, U and V relating to 1863-66. Overall in reasonable condition for such a set.
