A Victorian Howard & Sons walnut buttoned back nursing chair, the back with original Howard & Sons floral pattern fabric, the seat later upholstered, on turned legs, fitted brass castors, W.58.5cm D.81.5cm H.86.5cm

Original Howard & Sons fabric now very faded and discoloured with tearing around the top, does not appear to have been retained on the seat, springing popping through underneath the seat, castors appear unsigned.

Signed with printed initials on the fabric only - H&S. One rear leg with impressed 17482/1322. Frame good with tight joints. Springs complete. Castors original.
