Top looks to have been repolished within the past 10 - 20 years ago, some signs of old surface scuffing and scratching commensurate with age, under frame has a slightly richer deeper mid golden oak tone, incised lines around the frieze look they were once gilt, carved griffons retain traces of gilding to their beards, chests and wings, lower supports have canted ebonised angles which have now faded to a dark brown, minor dents and scuffs throughout but no notable damage, overall good condition.
