A Victorian Gillow & Co mahogany occasional table, attributed to Bruce J. Talbert (1831-1881), with green leather skiver, gallery understage and floral carved legs, fitted brass castors, purchased from H.Blairman & Sons in 1997 for £3,300, W.2ft 3in. D.1ft 6in. H.2ft 3in.

A good rich reddish walnut colour lying beneath a surface of dust and neglect, olive green skiver with slightly patchy colouring, probably replaced when retailed by Blairman's. One small old split in one of the top corners, but otherwise good condition. Fitted with original brass castors.
