There is a crack to the base which runs horizontally in line with the rim and then continues half way down into the body toward the foot and this has been stained with age, there is a little tab on the cover which fits into a notch on the base when these two are lined up it isnt the best fit to the rim. There are three small patches of restoration next to the rim on the cover, otherwise in reasonable condition.
