A Sevres cabinet cup and saucer, c.1822, each painted with a band of colourful flowers, the cup with gilt borders of palmettes, foliate motifs and scrolling foliage, the scroll handle with serpent and animal terminals and the interior gilt, the saucer with a gilt foliate motif in the centre and a scrolling foliate border to the rim, interlaced LL monograms enclosing fleur-de-lys, Sèvres and 22 stencilled in blue, incised marks, gilder's mark R....26 to the saucer

Slight sharpness to the 'hoof' thumb rest on the top of the handle which is in the modelling, in good condition with occasional minor scratches to the gilding.
