A Sawasa or Tonkin ware gilt copper peach-shaped cup, first half 18th century, finely cast and chased in high relief with birds and foliage reserves on a dark brown patinated ground, applied with a flowering branch handle, length 7.5cm height 4.9cm

The handle has a small crack to the stem of the flower at the top, a missing leaf next to this and a missing leaf at the bottom. Some wear to the gilding on raised areas all over.
