Even mid reddish brown mahogany tone, with flame veneering to the top, old minor dents and scratches commensurate with use to the top, lions mask appliques probably later additions, front of the bookcase showing a lighter tone no doubt a little sunbleached, two adjustable shelves showing fair wear and tear, lions paw feet look to be later additions, overall this looks to be a section from a much larger bookcase that has been adapted in more recent years, however it has a good decorative look and remains in honest condition.
