Toothpick box
A few tiny surface stains and slightly darker to the underside than the top but essentially of good even colour and good condition, the only damage noted is oxidisation to the silvering of the internal mirror and later red velvet lining. Etui handle has a crack running from the gold rim below the putti's buttock approx. half way up the handle, another fine crack runs through the head of one of the top two putti and two further cracks running approx half way down the back of the handle, otherwise one small discoloured hole again at the back, but no sign of any breaks or chips, even old stained ivory colour. Iron scallop stamped received and the base is a little oxidised.
