A Regency rosewood sofa table, with rounded flaps and two frieze drawers, on end standards with downswept legs and scroll carved lions paw feet, W.3ft 2in. D.2ft 6in. H.2ft 5in.

Good rich dark rosewood colour, surface looks like it may have been French polished at some time which is now worn away and scuffed and scratched leaving much of the top now showing as unvarnished timber, both flaps hang down straight, no sign of any warping, one small piece of veneer missing from the extreme left corner of the front edge, one small old crack running through the top of the timber top right front edge, both drawers in good original condition, left drawer has lost its brass escutcheon, underside of table mostly in good order, left hand tip of the right front lions paw has lost part of its pad, overall a good table in need of some essentially cosmetic restoration.
