Overall looks rather dirty with damages to all four corners of the lid, left side veneer has a break at the front corner and is lifting away from the carcass, back corners of the plinth both have losses and repairs, internally original ivory banding around the edges with some cracking and small repairs near the hinges, lids look original, most of the internal silvering foil is now lost, lock is stamped with two crowns and Patent and has a working key, brass feet look original, papering to base worn.
