Estimate £1,000-1,500

This table comes from a deceased estates apartment in Kemp Town, Brighton.
The top is of a good even rich reddish dark mahogany tone, one D end slightly tips down at one side and has a fine old crack running approx 14 inches in from the same side towards the middle, otherwise there is some light surface scratching and scuffing to the top commensurate with use, underframe is in fair condition of even colour, slightly darker than the top and with light scuffing and scratching to the legs commensurate with use, the centre pillar has had the castor and tip of the leg broken away and re-attached at some point and the same thing has happened to one of the castors on one of the end pillars, both have been repaired to withstand practical use but perhaps could do with a little re-colouring around the repair, the two leaves look to be later replacements, one is approx 17 inches, the other 18.5 inches, both have an even tone near matching to the top, one has two fine cracks running in approximately 12 inches from each side, both leaves come with full sets of brass clips. Overall a good table really just in need of some repolishing to put it back in better condition.
