Top patchily faded, has been repolished at some point but will need a repolish again, the remainder of the piece with a duller finish again in need of a repolish, both knob handles to the drawer have been broken around the outside, drawer lining is oak, a section of veneer has been replaced to the top right side of the drawer front surround, no sign that these ever had a silk bag or box, knob handles to the back are equally broken away around the edges, front left flap hinge shows some damage where it is covered by the timber, back left leg has some small chipping to one of the ring turns, original lock but no key, overall this piece requires a fair amount of attention reflected in the low estimate.
