A Regency ivory strung blond tortoiseshell tea caddy, of plain rectangular form with twin compartment interior, width 6.5in. depth 3.75in. height 4.25in.

Overall in honest condition, a little dirty with a silver plaque to the lid initialled R, original internal lids and much of the original silvered foil intact, small repair near the escutcheon which has probably lost an inner setting to the escutcheon, small section of ivory stringing missing from the back right side.
