Condition:
Overall in good honest untouched condition, small silvered plaque to the lid which is unengraved and matches the escutcheon, some slight separation at the front right corner of the lid where the pewter stringing has been lost, interior looks original with original silvering, lock slightly out of shape, small damages to the ivory near the escutcheon, and further separations of the joints to the edge of the lid more evident from inside, feet and base papering look original.
