Condition:
Minor surface scratches in general. Small silver solder repair to the hinge on the domed cover. Hallmarks clear but with some rubbing to the makers mark. It has been suggested that there is an old silver solder repair, visible on the interior top rim, where the top of the handle joins the body and also where the thumbpiece joins the cover, again on the inside, manifesting as a small surface split to the silver. The interior rim of the cover is hallmarked. The finial is nether marked nor unscrews.
