Black / brown body of the pen showing very slight variation in colour with some slightly matted duller patching particularly near the bottom of the main body, lacquer work looks to be very good, possibly some slight rubbing of the fine gilt lines showing as ripples in the water, a little light rubbing wear to the body where the edge of the cap meets it, tip of the nib looks a little worn and slightly bent out of shape but overall good order.
