A Meissen yellow ground barrel shaped mustard pot, mid 18th century, painted with floral sprays to lantern shaped reserves, underglaze blue crossed swords marks, height 2.75in.

There is a slight indentation possible shallow chip to the top rim which is unglazed and may well of had a mount originally, there are a few marks to the foot which are probably from manufacture or old minute shallow chips that have worn, very slight wear to the gilding that only appears on the handle, occasional minor scratching to the glaze otherwise in good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
