A Meissen porcelain group of the drunken Silenus, 19th century, supported by Bacchus and slumped on a donkey being fed grapes by a maiden relaxing on the ground, and a putto playing with its tail, underglaze blue crossed swords, incised 2724, H. 21cm

There are losses to the garland of grapes on two of the figures heads, the donkeys right ear, the foliage the donkey is eating, the fingers on the putto's right hand, some of the leaves in the basket and to some drapery next to the left arm of the maiden. There is restoration to the end of the donkeys tail and to the maidens right foot, otherwise in reasonable condition.
