A Meissen figure of Avvocato or a Masquerader, c.1745, modelled by J. J. Kandler, the figure wearing a pink gown, white mask and black tricorn hat, underglaze blue mark, 16.5cm high

Condition:
Discoloured restoration around his neck and collar at the back and right-hand shoulder, to his right arm and the billowing sleeve to his left hand and around his waist, the whole of the back of his cloak down to the bottom of the base, most of the flower shaped ribbons and the cresting on his hat appeared to be restored as well as is the edge of his tricorn hat, there is a separate restored piece for the watch and ribbon in his hand which is now detached.
