A Meissen cylindrical tankard and cover, late 19th century, the shaped central reserve painted with a lady in a neo-classical garden tending to flowers within puce and iron red scrollwork cartouche, amid floral sprays and bouquets, the domed cover with strawberry finial, underglaze blue crossed swords mark and impressed number 29, lacking hinge mount, 16cm high

Very slight wear to the gilding around the rims and the edge of the cover, some unglazed patches around the edge of the foot, there is a tiny chip to the edge of one of the applied leaves on the cover otherwise in good condition with no restoration or cracks detected.
