Some areas of the border holding the tasselled ends are coming away from the main body of the rug, in fact quite likely that these tassell ends are later replacements, some damages and missing sections along the selvedges, general marks, stains and wear all over, the whole rug is slightly mis-shapen along one side, generally very average.
