There are several chunks missing from the edge of the lid and base, there is also a crack at the front left hand side of the lid, there are 3 cracks to the back of the lid, mainly around the hinges and one on the back right hand corner, also with a chunk missing. Craquelure is visible throughout the exterior. The lids in the interior have minor chips around the edges and the back inner lid has been reinforced with a newer piece of timber. The inner lid is generally a little bit worn and the latch of the lid is missing
