A Jaques Staunton pattern ebony and boxwood club chess set, weighted, with original case but no label, kings stamped Jaques London, king 4.25in.

Only the white King is stamped Jaques, the white Queen has chipping to her coronet, one pawn has a section missing from a collar that has broken away but is still in the box, a further section opposite this has been filled in to poor effect, another white pawn has equally repairs to the collar, the black bishop has lost his finial and has a crack to one side of the base, the black Queen has a split the base and chipping to her coronet, finial to black King possibly restored. No key to box.
