Box looks to be in good condition, with good even colour, baize lining looks later, original label re-applied.
White King stamped, Queen with one or two tiny nicks to her coronet, both bishops with slight jagged finish to the inside of their aperture, each matches so this may be a manufacturing quirk, one castle stamped to the top, one knight stamped to the top, one pawn with a fine crack to the base, another with a severe split running from the base up the sides
Blacks - King stamped at the base, Queen with split to the base and slight rubbing to the coronet, one castle stamped with fine crack also to the base, one knight stamped to the top, one pawn with a chunk missing from its collar, another with fine crack to base and a third with three severe cracks to base.
