A Japanese watercolour on silk of two monkeys, Meiji period, tondo, the two simians seated on a flowering branch, inscribed, 61cm diameter

There are general areas of brown staining to the left and right of the image and slightly across the centre, and then around the top arch, there are some areas of black spotting just above middle left, amid the flowers and branches, particularly large black spot on the right hand side and then near the edge at the 7 o'clock position there is a small hole in the silk, there is some other black bits of residue trapped between the glass and the silk scattered all over and some slight tiny splinters of glass near the edge at the 4 o'clock position, however the current glass in the framing is in good condition, the frame is quite worn.
