A Japanese ivory figure of a prowling tiger, signed Gyoku..? Meiji period, with glass inset eyes, 20.5cm long, the wood stand carved as rockwork, total length 23.5cm

The ivory tiger is in good condition with no restoration chips or cracks, there are some old ink marks to the underside of his belly, probably made by the maker or retailer, there are a few scuff marks to the wood stand which has a pleasing patina, generally in good condition.
