A Japanese bronze, silver and gold overlaid vase, Kyoto Kuroda zo workshop, Meiji period, decorated with a spider on a web suspended from bamboo, on a dark brown patinated ground, signed by the artist to the body and to the base ‘ Kyoto Kurosawa zo’, 27.5cm high

Condition:
Slightly worn due to polishing over the years with the main brown patination a little rubbed through in places, silver overlay a little tarnished in places with some copperish tones showing through, equally rubbed from polishing at the raised edges and rims, a few light surface scuffs throughout.
