A Japanese Satsuma pottery koro and cover, by Kinkozan, Meiji period, of quatrelobed form, the shoulder decorated with seated figures in landscapes within gilt foliate decorated cobalt blue borders, on four cabriole feet, impressed mark and gilt three character mark to base, W.16.5cm

The Koro and cover has typical fine crazy into the glaze all over. There's some slight wear to the gilding on the ribs of the pierced cover and some dirt to the interior of the koro which should remove. Otherwise in good condition with no restoration chips or cracks detected. There is a four character impressed mark and a 3 character gilt mark to the base which is slightly worn.
