A Japanese Satsuma pottery globular vase, signed Kinkozan, Meiji period, modelled in imitation of a bronze and mixed metal vase decorated with silver and gilt objects including fans, swords, bouquets of flowers, etc., on a brown glazed ground, impressed mark Kinkozan Zo, height 11.4cm

Overall looks to be in very good untouched condition, one tiny spot mark showing on the upper edge of the rim and a little pale flaw line showing near it, these do not appear to be damage but part of the firing process in the glaze, gilding all looks very good, perhaps one tiny area of wear to one side of the foot rim, impressed mark to the underside, overall good condition.
