A Japanese Satsuma pottery bowl, Meiji period, finely painted to the exterior with landscape and dancing figure panels, the interior with a thousand flower design, three character signature, D. 9.8cm

Satsuma bowl has tiniest amount of wear to gilding on the rim, otherwise the gilding on the whole is in excellent condition, there is the lightest small patches of staining to some of the reserves visible otherwise in good condition with no chips cracks or restoration, some slight grubbiness to the exposed biscuit edge of the foot.
