A Japanese Kakiemon style boat shaped dish, 19th century, the interior painted with a phoenix, within a leaf scroll border, 24cm wide, fitted wood stand

Condition:
One small chip at the narrow end of the boat, at the rim, boat also has a few typical flaws in the manufacture and scratches to the glaze. Stand has a small crack around the top of one upright at the wider side and one small split to upper rim at corner of wider side.
