A George IV silver snuff box, by Thomas Shaw, hallmarked Birmingham 1825, of rectangular ogee form and decorated with bird and scrolls, with engine turned base, crested, Length 79mm. Weight 3.4oz/107 grams.

A few very minor scratches and dings. Interior inscription to the lid. Hallmarks clear.
(There are a few small scratches along with two extremely minor dings to te engine turned base. Several tiny nicks to the top of the lid, along with a very minor ding. There are numerous minor surface scratches to the interior of the lid. Inscription reads "Presented to James Gentle Esqr. by a friend as a token of esteem and regard".
