The leather top has degraded, there are two horizontal splits in the timber beneath, the edge has areas of replaced veneer and lost veneer, all handles have been replaced with bakelite knobs, one appears to be missing. The left top small drawer has an area of lost timber below, the recessed cupboard has a vertical crack running through its length, the right side have two full length vertical splits to timber as does the left side also. The back panel has five horizontal veneer splits.
