This piece has been repolished at some point within the past 10 - 20 years, top is slightly faded down to a mid reddish gingery tone, numerous small nicks, scratches and dents to the top will require a further repolish. Brushing slide is not baize lined, a few rub marks from use, drawers have oak lining, handles are original, locks look later but no key present. A few tiny nicks to some of the cockbeading notably extreme top left corners of the brushing slide and top drawer, feet at some point have seen damaged and have been repaired to good effects, sides with a few scuff and scratch marks, overall a smart chest, clearly one that has been restored in the past and will now require a cosmetic repolish.
