A George III silver mounted green stained tortoiseshell and ivory tea caddy, of decagonal form, with foliate finial, the interior with two blond tortoiseshell lids, width 6in. height 5.5in.

Overall in restored condition, the lid isn't a perfect fit for the top pulling slightly backwards and to the left, top finial looks to be silver but not hallmarked, maybe a later addition, escutcheon and initialled front silver plate look original, otherwise in good clean order, frieze around the bottom looks later, internally with old silvered papering, left hand internal lid has a repair to one corner.
