A George III silver cake basket by Samuel Godbehere, Edward Wigan & James Boult, of navette boat shape, with pierced foliate border and reeded rim, the handle with engraved monogram, on oval foot, London, 1800, 14.25in, 26 oz.

There are a few minor dings to the interior centre of the bowl. The engraving around the rim may be showing slight signs of wear but overall the piece is in good condition. Marks clear with some slight rubbing to the bottom. The maker's mark on the handle is half rubbed.
