Looks to have been repolished within the past 10 years or so, overall of a good rich mid mahogany tone but somewhat lighter on the top, top has suffered from numerous small scratches, dents and small spotted stains commensurate with age, the crossbanding on the left side is bulging outwards and needs to be restuck, small sections of boxwood stringing are missing from the back corners of the top, all locks present but no key, handles look to be original, small losses around the right foot although one missing piece is in a drawer, otherwise lights scuffing around the feet, left side has a pronounced vertical separation of the timbers, right side similarly so.
