A George III needlework sampler, depicting gardens, birds, insects, a lion, stags and verse, together with Wyllie family names, and additionally inscribed Agnes Wyllie sewed this sampler aged 14, Dunloe 1816, 21 x 18.5in.

Overall slight discolouration to the fine linen ground with some fading noticeably to the upper and lower bands of text. A few holes professionally repaired with a fine gauze above the house (lower centre) and a long the bottom hem line, otherwise in reasonable condition.
