A George III mahogany secretaire bookcase, with moulded cornice over astragal glazed doors, secretaire drawer and three graduated long drawers, on bracket feet, W.3ft 8in. D.1ft 10in.

Some colour fading to the front of the base section. Cluster of old heavy scratches/indentations to the front of the secretaire drawer. All handles are replacement handles. Damage to the wood on right side panel at base of secretaire drawer. Also a small piece of veneer missing from the front right side panel at the base of the 2nd drawer. Old repiar to back right bracket foot. There is a split to the wood surface at the base of the front of the secretaire drawer, approx. 13in. There is a split top the wood surface at the base front of the bottom drawer, approx. 6in. There is a small crack to the base of one of the lower glass panels. Visible old repairs to the astragal wooden dividers, visible on the interior of the right door. Dummy keyhole on left door. There is a tiny piece of wood missing from the back right side panel approx. half way down the top section. There is a small piece of veneer missing from the bottom front left corner of the cornice and the bottom right front and side corner also. There is a split to the wood suface running almost the full length of the base interior of the secretaire drawer. There also appears to be some very slight warping to the front of the bottom drawer.
