Lot 155 , A George III mahogany pole screen, c.1760, H.4ft 1.5in.

A George III mahogany pole screen, c.1760, H.4ft 1.5in.

A George III mahogany pole screen, c.1760, with petit and gros point floral needlework panel, on three acanthus leaf carved cabriole legs with claw and ball feet, H.4ft 1.5in.
Estimate £150-200

Needlework panel is of some age, looks to be at least 19th century, rather faded though with just the pinks showing all other colours are browns, 3 small splits at the top of the stem where it meets the pole, looks to have happened many years ago, some slight rubbing to the top of the feet but overall fair to good condition.
