The top is possibly later.
Top: border is mahogany, then unfinished secondary wood.
The moulding is attached to the top of the bureau.
Not the original brass and feet.
Height : 214cm
No warping in the fall front.
Interior behind the fall front: 4 pigeon holes in centre, then drawers either side and underneath.
Late 18th Century.
The missing pull on the bottom drawer is inside the drawer.
General condition including glass and finish: Glass good, no cracks or breaks. Some splits to one side and scuff marks consistent with age and usage. Some teeth missing from cornice. Lock to fall front was once forced and has been repaired. Hinges to fall have been replaced. Splits along bottom of fall. Split above top front drawer on right hand side.

It is a faded mahogany.
