£2,000-3,000

Condition:
Overall in very good clean condition of a rich reddish brown mahogany tone in fair state of polish. Probably haven seen some polishing and restoration 10 or 20 years ago and still remaining in good order. The left side of the upper section has some shallow dents near where it meets the base, the right side of the upper section is faded to a lighter tone, less so than to the right base. All of the doors open smoothly, each one encloses four slide in adjustable shelves. One original key operates all of the locks to the upper doors and to the central base cupboard which encloses one fixed shelf but looks to at one time have had three shelves fitted. A second key that may well be a replacement works the locks to the drawers. Handles look original, minor scuffing and denting around the plinth commensurate with use but overall a good handsome piece of furniture. Most of the glass looks to be original and incorporates tiny little bubbles and flaws. There may be one or two replacement panels, most likely bottom right is one of them.
