A George III large provincial silver mug by John Langlands I, of plain form, with banded girdle and engraved initials to the handle, Newcastle, 1770, height 16.2cm, 18oz.
Estimate £400-600

Small flaw to the surface of the silver at the base of the handle, otherwise in good order, commensurate with age. Hallmarks clear but with some mild rubbing to the date letter.
