This piece looks to have been repolished and embellished at some point in its life, the top has a fairly recent reddish finish albeit of good rich colour but shows beneath the polish dents scuffs and scratches commensurate with age, the stringing and shell inlays all look to be later probably 20th century, handles are later replacements, no key present, legs show small dents and scuffing commensurate with age, overall showing signs of its age but in good ready to use condition.
