A George III inlaid ivory and tortoiseshell tea caddy, the central cartouche bordered with mother of pearl swags, width 5.25in. depth 3.5in. height 5.5in.

Overall rather dirty with most of the ivory panels starting to lift. Lid has cracking to 5 of the panels and a little of the stringing lost at the back of the lid.
Centre front panel cracked with some of the mother of pearl inlay missing.
No lock or key
Possibly original silvered paper to the inside, no support for the inner lid.
