A George III bright cut engraved silver teapot and matching stand by Robert Hennell I, the teapot of panelled oval form, with wooden handle, carved wooden pineapple finial and decorated with foliate motifs and engraved with two sets of initials, the stand with similar initials and decoration, on four fluted stump feet, 16.4cm, gross weight 19oz.

Condition:
Old silver solder repair to the base of the spout. and a similar repair to the top of the pot by the handle. There is also a repair around the base rim of the pot. Minor surface scratches in places. Some wear to the decoration in places. Hallmarks clear. Stand has some minor surface scratches commensurate with age and some use, otherwise in good order. Hallmarks clear.
